Android Browser, Google Phone and W3C

Hi I am currently working on a web project and I want to ensure that the Android operating system and the new google phone is catered for. Does anyone know which browser comes standard with Android? Which browser comes standard with the new Google phone? What W3C markup language standard I should be sticking to: eg. XHTML Basic 1.0, HTML 4.0, Basic XHTML-MP for the new Google phone?
